We are now open!

Hello lovely Boutique Fans,

We had some VERY exciting news happen last week that we have been teetering going back and forth on whether or not to share.

WE GOT OUR FIRST HATE MAIL!

Yes, it's true. Early one morning, or maybe it was late at night, some mysterious messenger shoved a note through our door that let us know how they felt.

In this brief, but memorable note, they told us 'not to take it personal but why would anyone want to be a pinup girl? They are only 'whack-off' objects!'.

Now our first reaction, was shocked, quickly followed by non-stop laughing. I don't think any of our customers or ourselves have probably even have the term 'whack off object' cross our mind when zipping into our favorite PUG ensembles.

But it got us to thinking on how sad it is that some people out there can think that in this day and age dressing desirable is solely for the purpose of men. Of course, there is a time and place when wanting to look your best and dressing to impress, but correct us if we're wrong, don't our costumers just want to dress up for themselves and feel good ?

Have any of our customers ever experience any bashing on trying to emulate Pinup Girl's classic style? I know one of our favorite 'burns' is when people tell us nice costumes ;)

Let's all share our stories and have a good laugh at it together while looking absolutely fabulous <3
