Sometimes I don't have alot of time to do overnight wetsets and end up using a heater hair curler as the last resort. I know it's not the best thing to do for my hair but I always use product to prevent drying it out or further damage it too much.

I'll curl with my iron and while it's still rolled up, I pin them up with the pincurl pins and let them cool down for a few hours.

I've got very processed hair, and naturally wavy thick and long hair and it takes the heat and curl very well.

Do you ladies ever do this too??

Thanks hun!! Do you use any product in your hair if you overnight wetset them?? I find that always helps with longer lasting curls. So sorry for the late reply haha I completely forgot I posted here

I use ceramic hot rollers. They heat in 90 seconds, are velvet-lined to protect my hair, and set in 5 minutes. While it may not be ideal, the result is beautiful. I use a curling spray as well.

i love those hot rollers! mine are almost exactly the same and i find they work really well with my hair.  mine is also thick, straight and somewhat coarse, so those hot rollers work best for me.  i always use a thermal spray and then hairspray the heck out of it when it's done.  it'll still droop a bit by the end of the day, but i can usually get two days' hairstyle worth out of them.

I just cut my hair and wet setted them and still have immense curls after THREE days! If only I could use hot rollers, it would make life alot easier

I used to but I tend to drop the silly hot roller before I can even roll my hair up in it. My fingers are freakishly sensitive :( I wish I could use hot rollers

Your hair is beautiful! I wish I could curl my hair with an iron but it doesn't like to hold it. I have to sleep in rollers at night to achieve my curls. I'm still trying to figure out what works best for me but so far sponge rollers have won. Pin curls take too long to put in. And my hair is very fine and very soft so curling it with an iron doesn't work well either. Sigh - pin up girl problems, eh? :)

Thank you!! I've actually never tried doing foam rollers, do you find it hard to sleep with them on?? Agreed on pin curls taking too long! My hair used to be past the middle of my back and it just took too long to pin up and there was so much of hair that my curls wouldnt last from the weight.

Things we girls do for beauty :P
