Welcome to Sunshine State Pinups!

I invited all Florida vintage, pinup, retro and rockabilly enthusiasts to join. However, I am located in South Florida.

Here are some things you can post about in the group.

Photoshoots (When/where are they taking place? How much?)
Gathering Ideas (Because Florida needs to see some old school glamour!)

I agree with Lourdes that there is a small scene which is ver spread out and not very connected. Tampa does have a few good rockabilly bands, a few good music venues and a few decent car club/shows. We have a few nice Vintage shops and I am able to find vintage stuff in several thrift/charity shops in the area. I have recently become a member of The Bomber Girls- a 1940's WWII style group of women who help raise funds that help enable Veterans to get to Washington DC to see the monuments in their honor and we give them a big heroes welcome home! It's fun and meaningful. What kinds of hobbies to you all have??
