Friday Evening, May 31st: Shecky's Girls Night Out/I AM SIN Launch Party
Dear Dolls,
OK, tell me that I am crazy. If at all possible, I am trying to combine two events into one night.
And I am still not sure if I can get permission from my Supreme Overlord. Anyway, I saw a notice on Goldstar about Shecky's Girls Night Out which is taking place in Downtown LA. They supposedly give away free goodies, have lots of things for sale and have alcoholic beverages! What could be better? Actually the reviews I have read about Shecky's are kind of mixed. But the tickets from Goldstar were only $12.50 I think. That event starts at 5 PM. I was thinking about then driving to the PUG Boutique for the I AM SIN launch party. Does it all sound a bit too crazy? I have invited one of my gal pals that I met through this wonderful site (I will keep her identity anonymous for now).
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you will be going to the PUG event? And have any of you ever went to a Shecky's GNO? I had such a fun time at the Micheline DVD Launch Party. It would be so great to see some of my So Cal Doll Pals. Let me know if I might be able to bump into you.

Awwww how nice. I'll be in Long Beach and it isn't crazy at all by my standards. I am there for another 3 day event and would love to join these activities, too. My parents will be with me, but I bet I could drag them with me.

My report. My gal pal and I got to the Shecky's event later than I'd wanted to. And then we waited in line to get in for almost 2 hours. Well, a goody bag was included in the entry price. A coconut drink, a granola bar and a chapstick were the only items in it besides a few coupons. There were a number of vendors selling things. Most of the vendors were ones you'd find at any crafty type of fair or in any mall arcade. I did buy a pair of pin up couture shoes, the Smitten T Strap in red and the price was about ten dollars cheaper than from the PUG site. Otherwise it was a failure as a night out. There was no way we'd be able to make it to the I AM SIN cosmetics launch before it ended. I wish we had gone there instead. Oh well, live and learn.
