Well, I am still waking up this morning but I can think of one quick little story. I went to the mall after getting all dolled up. I was thinking about how great I was looking but not thinking about what I was doing. I tried to go down the up escalator. Luckily no one else saw me do that. I will think more about this topic. This could be fun.

I have a thing about escalatoooors...it's ok once I'm on one, but I get anxious about stepping on and off of them. LOL Especially when someone is in front of me when it's almost time to step off. I always have to make sure I have enough room to step wide so I don't get caught in the thingy! LOL

Oh, I have the same fear! I hate getting on and off escalators, and especially at the airport when I have a rolling suitcase, I get like a panic attack!

Time to share mine, lol. Last summer my husband and I went to a get together for Labour Day up at a camping resort with some friends of ours. At one point my friends called me over to a where a group of them were so we could all have what I THOUGHT was a big group picture of all us girlfriends. Instead, it was REALLY a "Let's all pants Tahitia" and take a picture of it, which they did. So yeah, THAT was a surprise and my gf's all got a memorable picture out of it.

You gotta love friends :)

Here's another red faced moment of mine :) Years ago I was visiting a friend of mine who lived in a beautiful house by the beach with a gorgeous balcony that overlooked the water. One day I saw my friend was sitting out on the balcony studying so I walked over to talk to her and WHAM!! I walked right into her nicely polished glass sliding door face first.

The worst part is that I did it AGAIN before that summer ended. We both laughed so hard, even harder especially after the second time :)

Well, I slipped and fell at Walmart years ago (don't worry, i wasn't really hurt). It was a REALLY rainy day... I mean POURING! I go in to shop for a while, and on my way out..VOOP I was on the floor before I even knew what had happened. Laying there face down, although my arms were kind of out in front of me to "break" the fall a bit so I didn't smack my face against the floor (thank god). I was there with my Dad and at first he started laughing at me (not cool... I could have been hurt for fuck sake). Anyway, I was near the front of the store so there was a good change it was recorded. The greeter guy over by the chart area was all concerned and was asking if I was ok... maybe he thought, shit this lady might sue us! I don't know. There I was rolling around on the floor like Madonna at the VMA's lol (OK, so I wasn't literally rolling, but you get it) I just wanted help getting up. So my Dad eventually helps me up after some prompting from me. My bad ankle (had an accident years ago) was a bit sore, but other than that I was fine. Like most times when I'm out, I  was wearing heels that day and didn't even think to be careful when leaving since the floor near the entrance might be covered in water. Although to be honest, I've fallen wearing sneakers in the past to. I don't know if it was because I was in such a good mood that day or maybe just age and experience, but I wouldn't say I was embarrassed it happened. Until I made the mistake of mentioning that to my Dad...who thought that meant it was ok to harp on it for a while (also not cool), I was a bit after that. Ah well, live and learn right? lol

Actually come to think of it, it reminds me of that Sex & the City episode when Carrie falls at the fashion show she's in, and becomes temporary "fashion road kill" LOL

Oh my God I'm so glad you weren't hurt! Yes it's always different if there's one or more people around you, especially loved ones who have no problem laughing at your embarrassment ;)

I remember that episode of Sex in the City too, that was hilarious!

LOL yeah, wish I had the series on DVD. The episodes that were shown on tv, TBS I believe...were over edited. I hate that! HBO version please! ;)

Oh I know! The HBO originals is the best way to watch the show. Come to think of it, when I have the money I really should pick up the show on DVD. ;)
