So, I was discussing favorite PUG clothing with my sister last night, and we got to talking about our favorite pieces in our wardrobe. Then she asked me what is my absolute favorite piece from Pinup Girl Clothing that I have in my wardrobe…a piece that I will absolutely never get rid of - and will wear it until I die.
I replied to her that it would have to be my white Natasha Pin Dot dress with red trim. Second in line favorite is my new Turquoise Harlequin Print Dress.
So, ladies! What is your absolute favorite PUG piece in your wardrobe? (Something that would have to be pried from your cold, dead, fingers before you gave it up).
I think the Dee Dee in blue floral. The fit is just so darn perfect for me which is rare in my case for PUG clothing.
You have PUG fit problems too? :)
I have PUG fit problems as well! I thought I was the only one... So relieved I am not alone haha. Everything is so cute but apparently my bust and waist ratio are too close together to fit in most PUG... a small bust and a medium waist just don't work unless I want to suck it in all day... It's such a shame because everything is gorgeous!
I would definitely go with the Monica for the sure WOW factor of it, but I just fell in love with the Niagra dress a few weeks ago. It is so comfortable and fits great!
Well it used to be the Jessica Dress because WOW that dress is amazing. And then earlier this year I got my hands on the Bridgette and it totally stole my heart and my (four year) addiction to the Jessica. It's just so Wearable! ^_^ - that aside, I think I'd probably die if someone took my pencil skirts
You want the Jessica in Rust, it's orange but not super orange, but still orange!
As much as I love all of my PUG pieces, I would have to say that my pink Jayne dress is hands down my favorite. It fits like a dream and makes my fiancé swoon. ;)
I've got to say that the Wonderful Wrap Top in white and Audrey Skirt in Picnic Print make up my favourite PUG combination of all time. I never actually planned for this to be a combination, I'd bought both pieces separately one day and I just tried the two together and I have been in love ever since!
The Wonderful Wrap Top seriously delivers one of the most modest but effective displays of cleavage that I've ever experienced and the red & white checkered colour on the skirt just screams classic old fashioned style.
Paired with a petticoat for extra skirt flare and you seriously can't go wrong :)
It's definitely a summer combination so wearing it from late September to late April is out of the question in Canada but still it's my absolutely favourite outfit. I know it's technically two pieces and not one but I'll never separate the two of them :)
If PUG EVER gets more Audrey's & Wonderful Wrap Tops in more & different colours I'll be buying up new combinations for sure!
I'm glad that you like them Bonnie and I am so excited to hear that you're nearly finished the pinup illustration.
Yes Yes and YES I would absolutely LOVE to see it when it's ready!!!
I love the Hotrod Honey dress. It is super soft and comfy to wear and I love that is has no zippers. Plus my husband goes crazy whenever I wear it!
My favorite piece would probably have to be my cat print Netti. I love the print and the fit and I always get tons of compliments when I wear it. Plus I can wear it to work if I toss a cardigan over it, which is a plus :)
This kind of question is always difficult for me. It usually irks me when journalists ask their journalism subjects to name the best, the number one, their favorite, etc. Life gives us so many choices that I like to enjoy all of them. And PUG Clothing gives me so many awesome clothing choices. But I will give a couple faves for the moment. I love the vamp blouses and dresses. The vamps give me a torso look that I was not born with. Their structure pulls, pushes, squishes, boosts and accentuates everything in the torso area to make one look so curvy, bosomy and beautiful.
But right now I have to mention another item of clothing my Pinup Couture Ava Dress in Burnt Gold. I wore that dress last week when I went to the Cicada Club, and which I just featured in my new blog post. When I wear it, I feel like the Hollywood star of the Fifties that I imagine myself to be in my pinup dreams. And when I transformed my beautiful Irish inspired name, Aoife Kenny, into my pinup name, Aoife 24K, it was the dress that helped me find what my pinup name should be.
And I guess that I had better just post a pic of me in that dress.
