Is there any PUG's from the UK?  Thought it might be an idea to start a discussion where we could exchange shopping secrets etc from the UK as a lot of stuff is from the States and can be difficult to get hold of!!

Also, what are peoples thoughts on thrifting in the UK?  My town seems to be pretty dire when it comes to second hand/vintage shopping.  People in the States seem to get all the good vintage finds and I'm lucky if I find someones 6 month old primark jeans!! ;) x

I am a UK girl.
We don't have much where i live either. Although i have yet to have time to look around the nearby cities.
I will be trying to do this next week.

It's the same in my part of UK to. I find ebay to be the best way of getting hold of anything decent. Although be careful as alot of it can be overpriced or not what they described. Hope this helps ladies and HI :-)

I'll be spending some time in the UK over the next two months-- I'll keep a sharp eye out!

I tend to use mainly ebay and charity shops. I'm fairly lucky, living in the arse-end of Kent we have TONNES of charity shops :)

Oh we have charity shops upon charity shops in good ole Eastbourne, but I have yet to find anything in them at all!!  I should really spend a whole day trauling them!!  There has GOT to be something worth finding!! lol  I'm not really any good at knowing what to look for though!! :/ lol

I went to Eastbourne with my nan once - the land of Eddie Izzard :)

Some of the nicest days I've ever had have been when I've strapped the littlest child into the buggy and equipped the eldest child with a load of shopping bags and we've gone trawling through charity shops together, they always get a toy and I always get something pretty, even if it's just beads! A lot of the time it's the luck of the draw, but sometimes, if you're really lucky, you'll find a proper treasure. But I enjoy the hunt more than anything. It helps if you have a vague idea of what you want in mind, but quite often it's the bits that you weren't expecting to find that can really make your day :) also, I've discovered that seeing as vintage and retro has been fashionable for a few seasons now, a lot of stock that I've seen in places like New Look and Peacocks are now turning up in charity shops, which is awesome for people like us!

Hi.

I wish where I was from I could find some ace vintage finds =[

I did find a shop on the isle of wight though, I think it's called oh so vintage there were some really nice dresses and such in there
