Soooo, I have been wanting to start a fashion/beauty/lifestyle blog for a few years now. I have been scouring the internet and have found a plethora of style and fashion blogs, but not many vintage or pinup style ones. I wanted some feed back from all you lovely ladies: how much interst is there in another blog about vintage fashion, shopping, lifestyle, etc? what would you want to see (content) in said blog? Also if you have a blog, any advice for getting started?
I love this style and I would like to help introduce others to its awesomeness :)
I want to mostly focus on clothes and beauty, but I am also a mom so there would be stuff about how my love for the pinup style and how I have incorporated it into my life, with kids, taking care of my home, etc.
I would love to hear from you gals, especcially as you are my target audience;)
Thanks!!!

I do know that mom and motherhood blogs are really big right now, so one done from a Pinup lifestyle angle could definitely be huge I think :) I'd say the best thing that you could include content wise is maybe an explanation about why and how you first got into the pinup lifestyle (was it friends, was it something you read about etc...), what it has to offer women in general and what it's appeals are (a glamourous look with a caring and respectful community of like-minded women), why you've stuck with the style and how best to keep up with the style in a hectic world. Tips like how to do simple but good looking pinup hair and makeup could go really be popular, and maybe ideas for reasonably priced pinup clothes that with basic mix-and-matching and dressing up with accessories can give you a dozen or more different pinup outfit combinations.
I've had a few blog posts here on PUG Style since the summer but nothing quite in the league of what you have in mind I think. Please let us know how this is coming along and I'd love to follow your blog once you have it up and running. Best of luck! ;)
