Hello ladies!
So recently, I introduced my oldest step-sister to PUG's clothing for her Christmas present, and she's completely in love! She ordered the Je T'Adore dress in Olive, and when she put it on her husband's jaw dropped to the floor.
She told me that she never felt more attractive in her 49 years of living, than she did right at that moment...and that got me thinking about all the compliments and comments I've received from family, friends and strangers since I started wearing PUG clothing...and how it's impacted my life - which of course leads to the topic of discussion- what's the best compliment, comment or story you have pertaining to your PUG wardrobe?
:) :) Bonnie

Permalink Reply by Jennifer McKeever on April 19, 2013 at 8:18am A lady went up to me and my husband and asked if we just got back from a costume party! Hello, its April!! I just told her "no, we look like this all the time"! She said all I was missing was a poodle on my skirt!

He told me that it made him smile to see my hair like that because it reminded him of how his mother used to prepare her own hair during the day when he was a little boy.
I thought that was really sweet of him to say :)

Permalink Reply by Bonnie Lynn Bozell on April 20, 2013 at 1:59pm Wow, I just read everyone's posts since the last time I logged in, and these are so awesome!
Just about every day I get compliments, which is so humbling - but yesterday - this bright-eyed lady tourist actually stopped me quietly, and asked me seriously, if I was a celebrity. That's the third time it's happened this year, but this woman really was trying to not draw any attention to me to respect my privacy, which was infinitely humbling! I was wearing my PUG Vamp Mint top and an Aqua blue skirt, and had my hair in a Dita-esque hairdo (which is a rarity when I can get it to work that well, because it's growing out in layers).
So, YAY for compliments and feeling good :)
If course she would think that - you're gorgeous! Put gorgeous and well dressed together and you've got celeb status <3
I live in Melbourne Australia, which is notorious for black clothing. I stepped out one spring morning wearing the Natalie dress in pink, and an elderly gentleman grabbed my hand and said "Girls don't dress like this anymore, especially in Melbourne wear everything is black. Please don't stop". He was so cute!! Nothing has topped that compliment for me, though Pinup Girl Clothing does snag lots of compliments when I wear it. How can it not? Amazing clothing. <3
Permalink Reply by Lolita Black 8 hours ago I get weird, funny, and sweet compliments pretty much everyday. I think the style really surprises people. Folks even recognixze me around town too!
But maybe the funniest compliment at least was when I was at a convention and I was talking to someone when I felt a slight pressure on my dress from behind. I was wearing a full skirted swing dress with a petticoat underneath. Well feeling something on my skirt and backside, I quickly swung around and an older woman was poking my skirt. She wanted to know if i was wearing a hoop skirt. Lol well I explained it was just a petticaot but she gushed about the style. I thought it was sweet, funny, and at first weird.
I've noticed that people kinda want to reach out and touch you when you're dressed so nicely.Has anyone else noticed this?
