The other thread was fantastic asking about your best compliments, but I want to narrow it down to the responses and behaviors from your husbands, boyfriends, flirty strangers, male co-workers, ect.... I went to a party in the Nastasha Black and red cherry dress and it was a hit, and also at a party wearing a Stop Staring dress (met someone special but had to hop on a plane back to Europe the next day), but I haven't been able to test drive any summer clothes as of yet, since I only discovered PUG this winter.
I have a long distance potential boyfriend in America and I plan on wearing PUG every day that I see him in the States this summer. I am assuming that you gals have had great success with your significant others and strangers in these dresses. Because lets face it- most of us are wearing these dresses to feel super feminine hence attracting the opposite sex. Do you have any dresses that drive your partner's wild? Any nice stories would be fun to read!
I think the craziest reaction was when I was wearing my black Jayne dress on campus with some black heels. I was going to class, and this boy a little ways away riding his bike almost fell off his bike, he was staring so hard at me. I'm usually very oblivious to boys' attention, so I gotta say it's pretty blatant if I notice it.
do you have a photo? I've been looking forever for a photo of someone wearing the Jayne?
I don't have a good one on hand, but I could get one up for you! Just as a warning, I altered it a little bit because I'm pretty short.
I think you nailed my reasons for wearing PUG too Jessica! To put on a show (for whoever you want) but also just for yourself too.
Also I had a VERY similar reaction from hubby when I modelled the Ginger Dress in atomic print for the first time ;)
I live in a touristy town and there is a new slew of people in town every weekend. I can always anticipate the usual comments: "Do you dress like that every day?" "Where do you shop?" "Are you in a show?" etc. But the most colorful responses always come from the gentlemen. Let's just say I haven't paid for a drink in weeks...
My favorite instances are always when I'm out with my husband. Nothing makes me feel like a goddess quite like a stranger approaching my husband and telling him how lucky he is.
