I'm really into alternative and ska, but I dabble in a little of everything. I can't say I have a favorite genre really, those are just my current most listened to.
I was actually thinking of opening up a discussion on this subject. I love all music really. I do have my favorite artists (anyone who's read my profile on here knows about my tops favorites already, so I'll skip over that), but I know what I like when I hear, regardless of genre :) Of course I like rockabilly, also (of all decades) pop, r&b, jazz, rock, rap, celtic, classical, country,... you get the idea , the list gos on..My ear is open to anything :) i enjoy scoping out singers and groups I've never heard before. For example I've recently discovered Devil Doll.. which is a jazz/rockabilly group. I recommend checking them out, they're pretty wicked cool ;) Music is definitely a main staple in my life.. don't know what I'd do without it!
I LOVE DEVIL DOLL. Colleen is such a great singer/performer and I love seeing her live. The first album was perfection, start to finish.
Yeah, I like her sound ;) Have yet to see a live performance though.
Couple of the DD songs I dig most.... "Things You Make Me Do" & "The Way You Do" :)
I really love all types of music. My sister is in a band thats electronic/industrial/experimental punk stuff called At The Heart Of It All (ATHOIA). I dont really understand that type of music but she likes it!
A few people on my most recent play list:
But I literally love all types of music. As you can see from the above such a mixture! I'm going to see Noel Gallagher on 4th September.
My main is pop/some rnb/old rock/reggae/pop punk/indie
I really should add some MJ to my collection.. great stuff :)
Have you seen Paloma live yet? I've loved her since her debut and found out she was finally touring here in the States, but my friend and I waited too long to buy tickets! So sad.
Not yet but may well get tickets to see her Jan/Feb next year!
Where's Noel Gallagher gonna be playing?
