Well, what I love the most about Pinup Girl Style is that is brings us together as a community. It is a place for people from all over the world to share their love of pin up and Pinup Girl Clothing. Through this board I have met online some totally wonderful people: kind, beautiful and loving people. But as a result of making these online friends, I have gotten to meet a couple friends in person.

The first person I got to meet was Nilay Engin when we tried a group Meet Up at The Bahooka restaurant a few months back. Well, it turned out to just be Nilay and myself. But we had an absolutely wonderful time. The only negative is that we did not get any photos of ourselves. Next time, there will be pictures.

But this week a very special thing happened. I was out on an unsuccessful shopping trip for Christmas (following a successful Christmas themed photoshoot with me, my camera and tripod) when I had a thought. I remembered that Double O Jenn said that she worked at a major retailer that starts with S and ends with ears. I had no idea which one she worked at. But there was one of those stores at the mall I was at and so I thought I'd look around, just in case. Well I did not see her in the store so I was returning to my car. But I saw a woman sitting on a bench and it sure looked like Jenn... AND IT WAS! She was on her break but we got a chance to chat for 10 or 15 minutes and I got to take some photos.
