Hi Ladies
I am looking for hints and tips on how to achieve the perfect pin up arched brow!
My brows grow fairly straight, so achieving a great arch is almost impossible.I'd love to hear how everyone else keeps their brows maintained, and would love to hear everyone's thoughts on the following:
- Pencil; Powder; Shadow; Stencils; Plucking; Waxing; Threading; Shaving; Trimming (and anything else you would like to throw into the mix)

It comes with a wax and powder that you apply with a hard angled brush and it's super simple to help add here and there to create the perfect pin-up arch even if your brows grow relatively straight.

You can make them a little more arched but it is best to maintain their natural shape. You can use the brow shaping kit like previously mentioned, but whatever you do DON'T shave them!!!! If you have the money, I would recommend getting them professionally shaped the first time, then you can just maintain them.

And yes, you should have them professionally shaped the first time. I also like Benefis brow zings and brows a go go http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/brows-a-go-go

I do a two step system to FAKE an arched brow... I just don't have natural bushy eyebrows that can be waxed to create a full nice arch.
Your best bet is threading - since you have very little of a natural arch EACH.HAIR.COUNTS. Threading is so precise by EACH hair that you're going to have fantastic results while still being able to keep a good deal of your eyebrow. I go in every 8 weeks if I'm getting a really good grow out or every 6 weeks for upkeep. Be sure to tell your threader you'd like a defined arch, but you want to keep as much of your hair as possible. They will trim your hairs down and let you look to see if you like the result - if you see a stray hair or you want a different shape TELL THEM, they are happy to fix it and they are creating the shape and arch based on your facial shape ... so you won't any surprised brows..you know the ones, we've all seen them!
I've tried Benefits brow stuff and I'm not a fan, but be sure to try different brands, everyone's face is difference and I HATE wax so I opted out of that. I tried it, but it looked too fake on me since there was no gradient to the color.
I'm a huge, huge, huge fan of Anastasia's brow kit, all powder and several colors -all super natural looking, non-greasy - she has tons of stuff available at Sephora and she has never let me down. You're going to need a nice firm angled brush - you can get one from Sephora or Ulta for fairly cheap or you can get one from a craft store(be sure to clean and sanitize before using). Give yourself some time to play with your brows...I've had some hits and misses over the years...sometimes I've purposefully given myself Groucho Marx eyebrows to laugh at myself but it is important to play with the powder and brush on your face to get a feel of what not to do and what shapes you like best!
