I've had bangs my whole life, and was recently wondering if I should grow them out. Does anyone have any ideas of cute, vintage-y ways to style bangs as they grow out?

Permalink Reply by Auburn Hills on December 16, 2012 at 7:59am It's a bitch to grow out bangs., you're tempted to cut them so many times. I had bangs for a long time and finally gave it a go a few years back. I started out with heavy short "bettie" bangs and grew them out gradually, usually doing the side swept bang (good for 60s styles) and letting them get longer while keeping the very center short and wispy. Sort of Bridget Bardot style. Finally letting the center grow out too. It was the only way I could do it. The good thing is that they do grow fast so you get a different look fairly quick. And as Marissa says, you can start spraying them into rolls and pomps.

LisaFreemontStreet on youtube has some great tutorials for vintage styles that "hide" or incoporate the bangs into the look. There are some of her older videos. I watched these for inspiration and ideas on how to hide my own. Try that hun, and good luck!!
