On a good day, I am pushing 5'3", I really like the "Lily" dresses, they come to a really great length on me, I usually wear them with a cardigan for work since they are just about knee length on me. I also like the black label high waisted capris, they come about ankle length on me and work really well with cute heels or wedge sandals. Looks like you're wearing the Heidi style in the pic, I like those too, they seem to lengthen my torso without overwhelming me with the dress length.
Totally agree with Kat!! I'm also 5'2" and right now, my tailor is hemming 2 of my vintage finds so that they don't overwhelm my height. I have found that - for me - the perfect length is right at the mid-knee. It works for me really well, and I suspect it will go well with my crinoline once it gets here. But not only hems - she's changed sleeves, taken clothes in/out, and made other alterations to "off the rack" clothes that made them more me. A great tailor will change your life; and even though my budget is limited, my tailor gives us a month to pay off the item done, and I just factor in the tailoring into the price of buying. It's automatic in my head when I'm shopping now, lol. Good luck!
