So I sent back the skirt to see if I could switch it out for another medium.
According to pinup girl it is a true medium and measures up with their size chart....
So I was only refunded for the skirt NOT the cost of shipping to send it back.
I'm honestly frustrated. I don't see how it "measures up", clearly in the pictures it is smaller. I couldn't even get my thighs to fit into that skirt!

So disappointed. :(
I still want that "leopard" kinky box skirt but I know a going up a size would be to big...
I probably would if been better off selling it online to make my money back rather then sending it back.

Everything I've ever purchased from them was a medium and it's been true to size till now, this is the first issue I've had.
So now I'm not sure if I even trust ordering online... :(
********

So I recently ordered the Deadly Dames "Kinky box Skirt" in leopard and I believe the size was mislabeled. In no way shape or form is it a meduim.

I own three other kinky box skirts in different print all meduim and i compared them to what I received and it is definetly small possibly mislabeled.

I've attached photos below so you ladies can see .

Taking the mesurements it measures as a small.
13 inches laying flat while a medium lays 14 inches flat.

Has anyone else had this happen?
Would I be able to exchange for another medium?

Hey Gals,

So I was surfing the web the other day, as I often do, and I started looking at different memes where you draw your character in a different outfit/take pictures of different expressions etc. and I thought; it might be fun to do a pinup spin (spinup?) on this! So for those of you who are itching to take pictures of your wardrobe, or are looking for inspiration for different outfits I present to you; the Pinup Clothing Meme!

I've attached the blank meme to be filled out, as well as a (very rushed) example of what I did. Have fun, ladies!
New to Pinup/Boudoir Photographytag:www.pinupgirlstyle.com,2013-01-25:6504043:Topic:1774342013-01-25T20:22:22.930ZKevin S.http://www.pinupgirlstyle.com/profile/KevinSebesky

Hello everyone. I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

My wife surprised me recently when I brought up the idea of her taking a pinup photo session, and she said "OK". Imagine, after 29 years of "happily married" (and three kids), we're finally getting around to celebrating her beauty with a picture or two.

My dilemma (and I think hers as well), is we don't know how to go about doing it right. There are three parts to the dilemma:

My dilemma (and I think hers as well), is we don't know how to go about doing it right. There are three parts to the dilemma:

What to wear? I've shown her tasteful pictures of the types of pinups I like but neither one of us knows anything about the clothing. Bustiers, corsets, shoes... it's all a mystery to me. My wife sort of recedes when it comes to decisions about lingerie and when I ask what her size is she's never sure. So, I can't really order anything with confidence. I know it doesn't make any sense, especially when you consider how long we've been together (high school sweethearts), but it's just kind of a squirrely topic.

How to pick a photographer? I've looked online and the boudoir photographers in our area are basically wedding photographers. Is that good enough? I wouldn't be at the photo shoot because I wouldn't want to affect my wife's ability to open up, but I want to make sure I trust the person behind the camera.

How much to spend? Is there an amount I should set as "reasonable" for such a photo shoot? What should we get for the money? I'm not cheap, but I want to make sure we're not being taken to the cleaners.

I appreciate any light you might be able to shine on my questions. Perhaps others have gone through this before. If so, would you share your experiences and advice?

I was just wondering, what other repro brands do the rest of you PUG girls wear?! I am constantly on the look out for more to add to my wardrobe as I refuse to wear vintage.

Other than PUG, I also love to wear Bernie Dexter and Hell Bunny, what about you?

Does anyone here like Collectif? I have heard a lot of things about their stuff but am yet to actually get my greedy little hands on any =P
