Bright? Darker?tag:www.pinupgirlstyle.com,2016-04-01:6504043:Topic:3989452016-04-01T16:04:22.120ZMiss Iris Maehttp://www.pinupgirlstyle.com/profile/MissIrisMae

I want to add an 'LBD" that isn't black, to my wardrobe. I just put myself on the waitlist for an XS or S Monica Dress in Navy Blue, however...

I'm curious to know, from any of you who have this dress, what type of navy blue is this? Can you post photos? I've looked at the photos on the site, but I'm aware that the lighting they use, or photo retouching, may make a difference between what I'm seeing onscreen, and how the color appears in real life.

If you have this dress, is it a bright navy? or a darker or duller hue? According to most color stylists, I'm a spring (clear or warm, depending on the stylist), so I want a brighter navy, something that looks like the sun is hitting it. Saturated color. A flat, dull, or dark navy drains the color out of my face and brings the undereye shadows right to the surface.

For that matter, if you have the Monica dress in dark green, I'd be curious to see that as well!

Thanks in advance :)

Hi lovelies!!!

If anyone out there is cleaning out their closet and has things they'd like to sell for fairly cheap, I'd love to buy from you! Anything is welcome! Actual vintage things are lovely, but I'd also love some things from some reproduction companies (PUG, Unique Vintage, Tatyana, Sourpuss, Hellbunny, Kitten D'Amour, etc)!!

In terms of clothing, I'm a 44-31-45, so I could only purchase L-XL items.

Hello beauties! :)

I just ordered a Medium Erin dress in Lucky Green. It's very nice, but something's not quite right and I don't feel comfortable: my lumps and bumps show up and it's not necessarily flattering.

Here's the thing: I'm relatively fit, so it makes me uncomfortable that the Erin makes me look 'un-fit'. I think it's because of my pear shape: I'm 36A - 28 - 42. Which means, of course, that the Medium Erin is tight around my wide…

Which means, of course, that the Medium Erin is tight around my wide shoulders, loose around my small chest, tight at the waist, and pulls wildly at my hips.

Any time I look up pics of other PUGs wearing this dress, the bengaline looks so, so smooth. And PUGs give the material rave reviews! I desperately need to find the right undergarments to make it work for me.

What is your favorite smoothing shapewear to wear under the Erin dress?
Wooden tiki shoe sizingtag:www.pinupgirlstyle.com,2014-08-12:6504043:Topic:3473322014-08-12T21:21:20.311ZMiss Iris Maehttp://www.pinupgirlstyle.com/profile/MissIrisMae
I want to order the wooden tiki shoes but I normally wear a 7 1/2 and these only come in full sizes. Does anyone else have these? Do they run big or small? Any feed back would be helpful. I am just dying over these shoes. I have to have them!!!!

I've gone makeup free (zit on the chin and all!) except my mascara to showcase how good it is - it makes even the stubbiest little lashes gigantic! It's "They're real" by Benefit. People often ask me what mascara I wear so I thought I'd share this gem with you lovely ladies. The question is have you got any favourite beauty regime staples that are must haves for your pin up style? Cosmetics, hair products, lotions and potions?
Please do tell! Fi-Fi xxx

I'm going to the Goodwood Revival in the UK (Vintage Motorsport meets vintage style) and would love a PUG dress to wear to the event - any recommendations? It will still be summer (albeit British summer!), day and night long.
Colours/styles suggestions to suit me would be very gratefully received!Pale skin, dark hair, blue eyes. I have big hips and bust but quite a small waist and not as much booty as I would like! I attach a very moody picture (as it's the clearest I could find) so you get…
